This recipe for an ecological wood stain is not new to interior decorators.
It is decorative, since any color pigment can be added to it, and it protects the wood while letting it breathe.
To make the wood stain, add 20 g of natural pigments, such as ochre, to the contents of a 33-cl can of beer.
If you stick to these proportions, your beer stain will not become powdery.
Brush on two coats of the beer stain, following the grain of the wood.
Beware of dogs, cats or other pets who might be attracted by the musky scent of the beer!
This treatment is sufficient to protect wood that is in good condition and used indoors.
This beer stain can also be used as glaze, to create special effects on an acrylic surface.
In this case, brush the beer glaze on vertically with a wide brush, from top to bottom, without overlapping.
The floral wall decoration was simply painted over the shadow of a branch projected on a wall.
